ABOUT REBECCA JANJIC

Rebecca leads CMO, CHRO, President, and Board Searches for Software, Digital/Ecommerce, and IT Services companies that range from Venture, Growth Equity, Private Equity, and Public technology companies. An expert on the evolving role of the CMO, she has written on the topic and advises candidates and clients on best in class Marketing leadership. Rebecca also co-lauched the Big Data & Analytics Practice, moved to the Bay Area to lead the firm\'s Venture Capital Practice, and then assumed leadership for Heidrick\'s Global Technology & Sevices Practice in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In her role leading the Practice, she grew global revenues, promoted a cadre of amazing talent, and held responsibility for about 250 team members. Her West Coast network, coupled with her now East Coast location, affords her a very deep bi-coastal network.Rebecca has been in retained search since 1993 and has a unique blend of both boutique and large company search firm experience having worked at publicly traded Korn/Ferry, EMC, and Internet Capital Group as well as working for boutique search firm Polachi. She was awarded her MBA from Simmons School of Management in Boston and earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm College. She lives in Portland, Maine and is involved in the Community, volunteers as a Coach for Girls On the Run, and is passionate about developing the next generation of female leaders.
