ABOUT REBECCA RITCHIE ASSOC

To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart\"- Eleanor Roosevelt.I am a passionate, loyal individual who believes that in order to get the best out of your team and those around you is to lead with your heart and develop a true understanding of those you are working alongside. I have been developing this skill throughout my studies of Business and HR Management at the University of the West of Scotland. I led my team within Wilko Ltd with care, compassion and understanding - realising in my time there that this will lead to a more flexible and productive team with a thirst for achieving the business\' objectives. This also creates an ethos within the team of creativity, allowing different ideas to come together in an excited and innovative way. The world of employment has allowed me to succeed in areas I never believed I could be successful in. I have worked my way up in the retail sector, becoming a Team Supervisor at only 20 years old with Wilko Ltd (with which I worked from the age of 16 until I turned 24!)Outside of work I love to sing, being a previous member of the Glasgow Youth Choir, and I am currently looking to progress my skill in solo singing.If you would like to discuss my previous employment and skills learned, alongside the essential ones I am currently learning at university, please get in touch!
