As a Digital Change Manager at Kent County Council, I lead with curiosity, empathy, and a deep understanding of both technology and human behaviour. My work sits at the intersection of digital strategy and operational delivery—translating vision into action and ensuring that transformation is inclusive, sustainable, and user-centred.I’ve had the privilege of co-leading the Kent Digital Festival, a month-long celebration of innovation that brought together over 900 staff across 33 sessions. From AI and accessibility to co-production and digital inclusion, the festival wasn’t just an event—it was a catalyst for culture change, skills growth, and cross-sector collaboration 1 2 3.My role is about more than delivering change—it’s about designing it holistically. I’ve reshaped how we approach digital discoveries, embedding user-centred design and stakeholder insight from the outset. I’ve also helped bridge the gap between operational teams (like our Centre of Excellence) and the wider digital agenda, ensuring that local delivery aligns with strategic ambition 4 5.What sets me apart is my ability to translate complex technology into meaningful experiences. I can speak the language of developers and designers, while also anticipating how people will feel, react, and adapt.
