ABOUT REBECCA L. COONEY

A distinguished professor at WSU’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, Rebecca Cooney brings three decades of expertise to the intersection of digital engagement and public health. Beyond her faculty leadership, she serves as a co-investigator and communications lead for the Resource Center for Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research (R3CR) and oversees instructional design for an NIH-funded cannabis prevention project. As a certified learning experience designer and the former Director of Murrow Online Programs, she is a facilitator and trainer who helps health professionals use technology to build more ethical and effective integrated communication strategies.
