I specialise in two areas, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) co-ordination and management and the project management, planning and consenting for blue-green infrastructure projects such as river restoration, wetland creation and rewilding.ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA)Since 2004 I\'ve been managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for proposed developments, ranging from local authority applications to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. I have managed projects both as a Consultant, supporting energy, residential/mixed use and leisure projects, and on the Applicant/Operator side for Thames Water. I am a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager with a keen eye for issues posing a consenting risk, a proven track record in over-turning standing objections and a strong understanding of the positive influence of targeted consultation. BLUE-GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE - LANDSCAPE SCALE WETLAND RESTORATIONI provide specialist project management and planning for landscape scale projects restoring and creating wetlands, creating fish passes and implementing rewilding. These projects often require planning permission and other consents and permits such as felling licences, flood risk activity permits, protected species licencing, Natural England notifications, public rights of way diversions, etc. I specialise in programming and securing such requirements for delivery alongside defining the scope of works for Contractors and ensuring funding requirements are met.
