ABOUT REBECCA BREDIN

I am a videographer that ticks all the boxes of the quintessential millennial. Early adopter on almost every social media platform I am very good at adapting to new technology My addiction to technology is probably unhealthy Every passion has become a potential side hustleThe chapters of my life are marked by the places I\'ve lived. My parents moved to from 󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, so I was brought up very Welsh and very Canadian. My childhood was spent in a small rural town in Northern Ontario. I spent my teen years in Brockville, ON on the Islands. My post-secondary years were spent in the nation\'s capital, Ottawa, where I ended up studying at all three of the main post-secondary institutions. Once I finished school, I ran away for a decade of travel and indecision through my 20s. I taught ESL in both and and also visited and. The chapter after was spent in Toronto, studying social media marketing and eventually I worked at a major social media platform behind the scenes as a data analyst. My current chapter is marked by my return to Brockville. I moved home for a job that combined my two loves of travel and social media at the Brockville Tourism office through the Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce. When that contract had a change in ownership, I had the opportunity to do something I had always wanted to, but never had the courage to – start my own business.Through Bredin Digital, I get to pursue all my passions. I help other business owners learn about social media, and I get to focus on video creation, which I have loved ever since I could use my parents\' camcorder. I take the opportunity to travel whenever I can, creating video content so others can enjoy these trips too.I have been told that I make things feel accessible. I love getting to share my passions, and that passion shines through, be it when I get to teach other business owners about a new marketing opportunity, or if I can make a business stand out from the rest with a great video.
