About Rebecca Youngquist

Like many people, I didn’t follow a straight line to get to where I am. Truth be told, I probably would’ve gotten lost halfway down that line anyway. My career journey has been more scenic detour than direct route, but every twist led me closer to the work I love today.I started out chasing tornadoes (literally, meteorology was my first college major), but after realizing I liked watching storms more than modeling them, I began the classic college shuffle: major-hopping and soul-searching. It wasn’t until I enlisted in the U.S. Navy that things clicked into place. From 2016 to 2021, I served as a Nuclear Reactor Operations Technician, where I learned to manage extreme responsibility, mentor junior sailors, and, yes, safely bring reactors online (which is just as intense as it sounds). I also started working toward my business degree at Penn State during that time because who doesn’t love a full plate? Then came Salesforce. During my last year of service, a close mentor encouraged me to check out Trailhead and it was like flipping a switch. I went from troubleshooting in reactor theory and teaching others how to do the same, to troubleshooting automation and building scalable processes. I earned my Admin certification, stepped into a sales operations role, and quickly realized I’d found my lane. Salesforce wasn’t just a tool; it was a platform where I could build, optimize, and solve real problems.Since then, I’ve earned 6 Salesforce certifications, including Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, and Agentforce Specialist. I stepped into an Administrator role, then quickly moved my way up and into Platform Management, where I lead cross-functional projects, overhaul legacy architecture, build Apex and LWC solutions, and act as the bridge between RevOps and technical execution. My goal is simple: make Salesforce so good that your sales team actually wants to use it.In 2023, I earned my Bachelor’s from Penn State. This summer, I’ll graduate with my Master’s in Project Management (also from Penn State - WE ARE). My next goal? Becoming a Certified Technical Architect. Because when I dive in, I go all in.I’m passionate about building smart, scalable systems, mentoring fellow admins, and finding the simplest way to solve the gnarliest business problems. If I can make a rep say, “Wait, this is actually helpful,” my job is done.
