Responsible for Administrative Leadership of the Divisions of Nephrology and Infectious Diseases under the VCU Department of Internal Medicine. Consults, advises and assists practice management, supports strategic initiatives by performing a combination of the following: financial reporting/management; budget development/monitoring; grants management/administration; physical plant maintenance/space planning; and human resources management and staff supervision. Maintains current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations and University and Health System policies and procedures. Ensures that all grants and contract awards are implemented and reporting requirements are conducted in accordance with established University and sponsoring agencies requirements. Works in close collaboration with various specialties, clinical teams, VCU and VCUHS management to support tri-fold mission of excellence in Education, Research, and Clinical Service.
