With over 39 years in commercial printing and graphics, I began my career journey in sales learning the ins and outs of the industry, eventually taking on the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of Moran/Emprint, a large commercial printing and document-solutions company. I pride myself on my ability to multitask, moving from production and finance issues to technological challenges and marketing our services. While much of my time is dedicated to daily operations, I continue to be actively involved in the sales and acquisition of the company’s major contracts.During my tenure at Moran/Emprint, I have seen enormous change in the industry and played an integral part in the company\'s move from offset printing to digital printing and now to electronic document management. Since February 2023, I\'ve been instrumental in the transition to cloud-based document management software solutions. I have performed a key role in the implementation of DigiDoc, a software that offers a variety of features that are crucial for healthcare facilities, such as securely storing and sharing patient forms, automating workflows, and providing version control.Today, Moran/Emprint is a modern, web-to-print operation, with a majority of its business being handled by web-enabled transactions. The company has gone from a relatively modest regional printer, to a national document-solutions company with clients in virtually all of the lower 48 states and several international locations.Emprint has always embraced an attitude of flexibility and willingness to adapt to advances in technology and change in the industry. The company now offers customized web-to-print solutions, electronic forms management, direct mail services, promotional items, enterprise-wide document solutions, traditional and electronic forms management, and warehousing and distribution services. Emprint serves major clients in the healthcare, aerospace, education, financial, and marketing industries nationwide.
