ABOUT REBECCA SWANN-JACKSON
For more than two decades, I have worked at the intersection of research, policy, and practice to help human services agencies, academic institutions, and state government partners build stronger systems for families and communities. As Associate Research Manager at the Rutgers University Institute for Families, I lead a research and training team focused on developing evidence-based content and strategies for New Jersey\'s human services workforce. I serve as Principal Investigator on multiple concurrent state-funded projects across maternal health, housing services, child welfare, and community behavioral health. My work spans program evaluation, workforce training design, mixed-methods research, and community needs assessment. I bring a PhD in Family Science and Human Development and a graduate specialization in educational statistics and measurement to every project. I care deeply about equity, and I design research and training experiences that center the voices of the communities they serve. What drives me is the space between data and decision-making. I help organizations understand what the evidence says, what it means for practice, and how to act on it. I am skilled at managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and turning ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable strategies.I am interested in connecting with academic leaders and state government partners who are committed to building evidence-informed systems that work. If that describes you, I would welcome the conversation.
