I have over 21 years of experience in higher education and over 30 years of business experience. I specialize in research, writing, instruction, and instructional design. I have been a business owner, a contracts manager, a capture manager, a proposal writer, a contracting officer (CO), and a senior executive in the Department of Defense and Federal government. Most of my acquisition experience is with the Department of the Army at the U.S. Pentagon. I worked at the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) as a senior acquisition professional, and at the General Services Administration (GSA) where I was a director. I completed a Doctorate of Management Education and Leadership from Colorado Technical University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University, St. Louis, MO, and a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics Management from Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, MI. I am level certified under the Army Acquisition Corp in Acquisition Management.
