The Foundation for Community Development and Empowerment (FCDE) builds local capacity to lead community change in rural East Africa. We believe that community development is most effective and sustainable when it is locally driven and we are committed to shifting power to grassroots organizations. For over a decade, we’ve worked alongside 50+ community-based organizations in rural Western Uganda, helping them dream bigger, grow stronger, and achieve more sustainable impact through our multi-year partnerships.
