I have spent nearly 5 years learning all things construction. I have gained some experience using Proval and looking at appraisal modelling. Aside from the standard forecast and budgeting part of high value areas such as Marketing, capitalised interest, defects and first tranche sales I have gained some experience looking at VAT structure of potential construction schemes and I have been responsible for our VAT returns. During my time in this role I have worked on projects looking at the pitfalls and failings of certain areas and implementing new procedures and processes liaising with a number of different teams.
