I am excited to share with you the company I founded, OrthoTraining, an education technology company. Working together with Mr. Suresh Kolpuru, the CEO of OrthoTraining, and his team of developers and programmers, we have created a fully automated system of teaching and learning of detailed step-by-step online courses. This unique hybrid system automatically measures the student\'s learning of course objectives. Individual student data collected by SCORM tracking, is analyzed and automatically reported on a Student Dashboard Report. This report is accessed by the student for feedback on course progress. It is also shared with the student\'s a local Mentor who is supervising the student and giving hands-on training using step-by-step checklists. This automated process uses the open-source Sakai Learning Management System, a LMS platform used globally by top-tier universities. This system is desperately needed at this time to quickly train highly-skilled Orthodontic Assistants. Similar training was approved over 14 years ago by the Dental Board of California for training orthodontic assistants for the Orthodontic Assistant Permit Exam. The NEW OrthoTraining Orthodontic Assistant 60-Day Apprenticeship Program is now available to use within an orthodontic practice to train employees and to train a local Mentor who will supervise training of future students. The OrthoTraining Orthodontic Basics 8-Week Mini-Course is is another in-office course that brings systems of operation to an orthodontic or dental practice. This course teaches the doctor and team to comprehensively examine an orthodontic patient, to produce and analyze orthodontic records, and gather these records for the doctor to do a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan acceptable to the patient. This process assures providing the highest standard of care to patients with caring efficiency.

   Dr. Poling is the Founder of OrthoTraining, a fully automated system delivering into the practice online and hands-on courses that teach orthodontic procedures. These courses are designed to engage the user for quick learning of important concepts, so that the courses are not boring. The courses use SCORM click-data tracking to measure learning and report course progress on a Student Dashboard Report. This gives feedback to the learner and to a local Mentor who may be supervising the learner. Courses teach step-by-step checklists to standardize hands-on training. OrthoTraining courses are delivered online using the open source Sakai LMS platform so courses can be accessed anywhere, anytime.
