ABOUT REBECCA ROTTENBERG
As an second year law student at St. John’s University School of Law, I am eager to merge my background in technology, finance, and law to address the complex challenges of the digital age. I currently work under the Honorable Judge Singer in NYS Supreme Court, handling complex tort and contract matters. My journey began at Queens College, where I honed my skills in coding, data analysis, and financial management, all while cultivating a deep interest in the legal frameworks that govern these fields.I have experience with programming languages such as Go and Python, and have applied these skills during internships at American Express, where I worked on Fintech projects that combined my passion for technology with my curiosity in finance. My analytical abilities allow me to interpret data to drive decision-making, and I am keen on exploring how these competencies can be applied in a legal context, particularly around emerging technologies and intellectual property law. When I’m not at work you can catch me trying new dessert recipes (I have a major sweet tooth), traveling, or going to a baseball game.Skills:Problem-Solving, Leadership, Communication, Creative Thinking, Team Collaboration Technical Skills: Python, HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office [Excel, Word, PowerPoint], Go, Terraform, Docker, Postman
