Responsible for managing a portfolio of awards comprised of discretionary, mandatory, and Congressionally Directed grants and cooperative agreements across six different Agency for Children and Families program offices. Health Promotion Portfolio program offices include:The Office of Community Services, Early Childhood Development, Family and Youth Services, Office of Trafficking in Persons, Office of Refugee Resettlement and the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation.• Provide authoritative technical advice on all aspects of grants/financial mechanisms• Ensure recipients are in compliance with established administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices• Participate in grant review meetings• Review periodic and final financial status reports to ensure that all obligations incurred meet conditions• Conduct oral briefings/presentations• Perform analysis of applications (New, Non-competing, Supplement), post award modifications, and makes recommendations for revisions or approval• Complete special actions required to identify, monitor, and take appropriate steps related to high-risk grantees• Perform grant closeouts
