My contributions better enable CMP to achieve its goals of meeting state educational standards using methods guided by the Montessori philosophy.Special Education Supporting Teacher -Increase mastery of reading, writing and math through individual and group lessons-Developed assessments and assessment schedules to demonstrate the trajectory of students’ mastery of targeted academic skillsClub M Lead -Taught three daily math lessons during the 2024 American River campus’ summer program -Work with Club M team to plan and lead dynamic assortment of activities-Planned and taught STEM activities for upper elementary students as part of the 20••••23 Capitol Campus’ summer program. Garden Coordinator -Taught teachers and staff how to incorporate outdoor learning into their curriculum at campus and network training events -Worked with students to design school garden-Created purposeful curriculum to connect groups of K-8 students with the seasonal rhythms of the garden -Founded and co-led after school Student Garden Committee for upper elementary and middle school students -Wrote weekly garden newsletter distributed to the school community General Education Supporting Teacher-Oversaw classroom management and supported lead teachers in lower elementary classrooms -Supported pod of nine students in on-site distance learning during covid.
