I began my career in private practice where I represented clients in connection with DOJ and SEC investigations and conducted internal investigations. I transitioned to in-house counsel where I exercised my existing skills and added many more to my tool kit. As in-house counsel, I am an ethics, compliance and investigations counsel with expertise in: the development, implementation, evaluation and enhancement of corporate ethics & compliance programs consistent with the Elements of an Effective Compliance Program (i.e, Federal Sentencing Guidelines and DOJ and regulator guidance); the entire internal investigations process; counseling internal clients on ethics matters (e.g, conflicts of interest, corporate opportunities); anti-bribery and anti-corruption. I model ethical behavior, strongly believe that integrity makes a business more successful, and am passionate about corporate culture.
