Contribute to planning efforts that integrate maritime infrastructure (“Blue Highways”), affordable housing, resiliency, open space, transit improvements, and workforce development—prioritizing benefits for NYCHA residents at Red Hook Houses.Manage and review a high volume of land use applications, including ULURP, BSA, and Landmarks Preservation Commission proposals, as well as affordable/supportive housing, transportation, waterfront, and open space projects.Coordinate with the Gowanus Oversight Task Force to monitor implementation of the Gowanus Neighborhood Plan rezoning and enforce Points of Agreement across agencies and stakeholders.Lead legislative and policy research; draft reports and testimony; and liaise with city agencies, elected officials, and community-based organizations to advance district priorities.Design and facilitate public meetings and planning studies, synthesizing community input into actionable recommendations. Produce presentations, resolutions, mapping, and digital materials to clearly communicate complex land use proposals.Reorganized committee structures and led a full redesign of the CB6 website to improve board participation, transparency, and public engagement.
