ABOUT REBECCA KAPLAN
Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am a current junior at the George Washington University majoring in both International Affairs and Biology. At the George Washington University, I serve as director for an ~150 person dance group, GW Balance Dance Group, and enjoy hosting a weekly radio show through WRGW. I am also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. This past year, I have had the honor to intern in three different Congressional offices on Capitol Hill. Prior to college, I trained as a pre-professional ballet dancer, studying and performing at Lincoln Center’s School of American Ballet - the official training school of the New York City Ballet - where I developed discipline, professionalism, and creativity.Currently, I am interning with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division in their Torts Branch. More specifically, the Office on Aviation, Space & Admiralty litigation. I also serve as a part-time Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the GWU Biology Department’s Introductory Biology course.
