Develops program goals and plans with support from external consultants and the Associate Vice President of Advancement with regard to The Lynchburg Fund, programmatic/ capital support and other institutional priorities, and areas that require external funding-Creates and manages calendar for all digital/regular mail solicitations and coordinates with the MarCom Department on multi-channel fundraising strategies. Oversight of all global e-mail, newsletters, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn) channels for Advancement-Plans and leads GiveDay effort with support from Advancement Team and campus partners and strives for all boards to have 100% participation on GiveDay-Sets strategy and messaging, authoring solicitation/proposal content as appropriate-Assists the staff liaisons with the Alumni Board, President’s External Advisory Board and Board of Trustees with The Lynchburg Fund solicitations to encourage each group to achieve 100% participation in giving to The Lynchburg Fund-Promotes and supports faculty and staff involvement in securing funding from external sources-Works with MarCom to execute plans and to promote noteworthy gifts through media releases and events-Works with the Director of Donor Relations and Endowment Administration with stewardship processes and activities for annual donors-Prepare periodic detailed and summary reports suitable for specific audiences in support of unit and institutional planning. Prepares reports for the Board of Trustees, as requested-Participates in the development of the Annual Report-Utilizes Advancement software (Raiser’s Edge/Slate) to, pull routine queries, email lists and track communications-Manages budget, files, and online resources-Web manager/liaison for all Advancement-related pages-Coordinates with the Senior Director of Alumni and External Engagement on routine events such as chapter events, Homecoming and Westover Alumni Weekend.
