ABOUT REBECCA HASDELL
Rebecca is a researcher and public policy professional with 15+ years experience building the capacity of public sector institutions to support adaptive and evidence-based policy design and decision-making. She has expertise in income and food policies and how they impact health, and her analysis has appeared in CBC, The Economist, National Observer and as a contributor to The Conversation. She has steered the development and evaluation of intersectoral programs, frameworks and strategies with local, Provincial and Federal governments. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Toronto, and held postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University\'s Basic Income Lab, the BC Centre for Disease Control Population and Public Health team, and Dalhousie\'s Food Policy Lab.
