Responsible for tracking current and upcoming affordable vacancies and leasing the units in NYC, New Orleans and SLC-Analyze weekly progress and coordinate game plan meetings with On site and compliance staff to drive structure and efficiency for current and upcoming LIHTC vacancies-Manage and purge the waitlist, screen applicants and determine eligibility according to current HUD income limits and rent charts-Pre-qualify applicants, process their file by calculating income documents provided, investigating asset statements and tax returns, sending out third party verifications and running criminal and credit background checks-Ensure timely submission of compliance requirements for new move in move-ins and recertifications-Develop specialized knowledge of the qualification requirements for each lease up including specific state file/compliance requirements, site team and plan of action, proformas and lease up goals-Send appropriate Approval, Waitlist or Denial letters and update Monday Board-Lease up Units within 30 days of vacancy, working with Maintenance staff to ensure Units have been turned and are ready-Submit completed files to third party auditing agencies; such as, Right Source and HDC.
