About Rebecca Gott
I am passionate about driving technology development to solve real world problems. In September 2022, I took the role of CTO for IBM Power Platform, a role that I am humbled, honored and thrilled to take on, having spent the early part of my IBM career in IBM Power Systems development. Prior to this role, I led development of technology in support of blockchain and digital assets offerings on IBM Z and LinuxONE, with a focus on innovating and exploiting differentiating features of the platforms to solve for challenges in these workloads. Specifically, addressing security of private keys, key management, advancement of confidential computing technologies, scalability and performance.
