I am responsible for strategically developing USCCB’s remote placement program and other relevant growth opportunities. This includes researching prospective new communities of welcome and outreach to identify new community partners who can engage in refugee resettlement under the Reception and Placement (R&P) program. I am also responsible for program policy development and procedures and ensuring implementation following the R&P Cooperative Agreement. Additionally, I conduct data analysis to evaluate program progress and impact, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. In my role, I provide guidance, leadership, and supervision to four staff members. I oversee the development of educational materials for community partners regarding R&P service provision to ensure compliance with the R&P Cooperative Agreement.Furthermore, I collaborate with the Education and Learning Coordinator to update existing and new e-learning resources for community partners. I liaise with other national resettlement agencies participating in the program to establish best practices for program implementation and ensure the coordination of remote case placements. I also liaise with State Refugee Coordinators and State Refugee Health Coordinators regarding onboarding new community partners to determine appropriate resettlement capacity, identification of health screening service providers, public benefits, and social security as necessary. Furthermore, I oversee the desk monitoring of remote placement community partners as per the established USCCB Remote Placement desk monitoring policy.
