ABOUT REBECCA COLEY
I am a director and writer. I have just completed my feature documentary POINT OF CHANGE about two friends who stumble upon a \'perfect wave\' in the 1970s and the unintended dramatic consequences that follow. I\'m a humanitarian and conservationist. I am founder and Trustee of Bukit Lawang Trust, a grassroots conservation education charity working in Sumatra, Indonesia. We support local communities on the edge of the Leuser Ecosystem, the last place on earth to find orangutans, tigers, elephants and rhinos living together in the wild. I also DRIFT Retreats: A surf and yoga retreat in Jersey, Channel Islands. Guests spend a long weekend at DRIFT with us, meditating, practising surfing and yoga and eating nutritious whole foods and taking part in creative activities in nature. DRIFT is only in session a couple of times a year. An antidote to the film industry when you need to unplug.
