ABOUT REBECCA CATHERINCCHIA

Experienced in partnering and strategizing with executive level leadership on a wide variety of projects, task management, relationship building, communications and outreach, data research, analysis & reporting, event coordination, fundraising, and serving as the single point of contact to internal and external stakeholders. Routine involvement and responsibilities associated with complex assignments, special projects, emergent needs, shifting priorities and high profile outcomes associated with local, countywide and statewide initiatives.Primary focus over the last decade has been working with countywide school business officials and school boards association, deficit and distressed districts, shared service collaborations, consent agreement compliance and the adequacy study released in January 2018 commissioned by the School Finance Research Collaborative. A month prior to beginning my 19th year supporting the business, finance and auxiliary services operations at Oakland Schools, I transitioned from an ISD to a LEA. Bloomfield Hills Schools was without a Superintendent and the position I accepted and been vacated for months. Since 2019, my primary focus has been working with the superintendent and school board in all matters relating to the school district’s operations and organizational priorities.Accustomed to a fluid schedule and workload, maximizing both efficiency and effectiveness by demonstrating accessibility, professional judgment, resourcefulness and strategic planning. Exceeds expectations of philanthropic, public and private sector leadership alike by anticipating needs, thinking beyond the scope, and delivering quality results on budget, on point and on time.
