As the Technical Coordinator, my job is multi faceted. I direct the onboarding of new designers into our cutting-edge automated and on-demand apparel manufacturing. Overseeing the testing of new products to be manufactured, setting up tech packs and spec sheets, and integrating each into our automated systems is a large part of my day but I also correct and improve our client designers’ patterns in Gerber PDS to achieve desired results. Ensuring the quality of all garments to the standards of each designer as well as providing feedback on systems, operations, and concepts is central to my role. I also manage, train, and test sewing personnel in multiple construction techniques and materials to certify they understand and can execute all products.
