I lead a team of researchers and build large multidisciplinary R&D programs to address pressing needs in energy and health. My current focus is on understanding the coordination chemistry of heavy and radioactive elements to develop new nuclear decontamination strategies, new therapeutics for radioimmunotherapy, or new light harvesting materials. I am passionate about great science, and working with talented and diverse people to challenge the status quo and drive innovative programs forward. I also have a keen interest in extracting fundamental scientific concepts to make them accessible to broad audiences. I am committed to developing and communicating breakthrough technologies that will make a difference to society and informing on the importance and impact science has on lives.
