I led a portfolio of high-impact initiatives and programmes that shaped policy and drove meaningful action in areas of sustainability, technology, economics and healthcare, and diversity and inclusion, underscoring my deep commitment to driving positive societal and environmental change. → Sustainability I established and strengthened relationships to drive socioeconomic justice within the transition to a more sustainable economy, informing policy development and supporting the Embassy’s strategic objectives by building partnerships with cities, academic institutions and non-governmental commercial organisations in the UK and US. Highlights include transatlantic panel discussions at top levels of government and corporate institutions (mayors, political leaders, policymakers, academics, think tank representatives) focused on the just transition. In addition, I served as a key participant within the US government delegation for bilateral talks, playing a pivotal role in coordinating and executing events and meetings at COP26 and COP27.→ Diversity and Inclusion I founded the Embassy\'s Blacks in Diplomacy employee resource group, and spearheaded multiple public outreach events that brought unprecedented numbers of attendees and levels of engagement from senior corporate, government and academic leaders to public figures.Key successes include Juneteenth celebrations and Black History Month events, fostering a vibrant exchange of cultural experiences and building bridges of understanding between the US and UK. I was an active member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Council and participated as a panellist in external discussions hosted by organisations, including the Home Office and the Financial Conduct Authority.
