The county had no dedicated PIO staff or resources, so I quickly built a capability as I have at start-up companies, from strategic messaging to tactical execution. • I provide strategic counsel and serve as media liaison, and speechwriter for Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales to communicate vital public health information. • I built and executed effective public health communication campaigns for testing, treatment, safe voting and vaccination programs. Advised and facilitated media relations; intense local, state, and national interest.
