Prior to university, I represented Team Ireland in the International Chemistry Olympiad and won Bronze Medal at the European Olympiad of Experimental Science. During my time at high school, I won national first-place gold medal in both the Irish Physics Olympiad and the Irish Chemistry Olympiad. A little younger, I won the New Zealand Chess Championship for intermediate school (12-14 y.o.) division.
