   As Vice Chair of the Board for the Maurice Lucas Foundation (ML20), I support the strategic leadership and governance of an organization dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and life skills development. The Maurice Lucas Foundation works to inspire young people to realize their full potential by providing academic support, mentorship programs, and resources that promote long-term success.In this role, I assist the Board Chair and executive leadership in guiding the foundation’s strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting initiatives that expand the organization’s impact within the community. My responsibilities include contributing to board-level decision making, helping oversee key programs and initiatives, and supporting fundraising and partnership development efforts that sustain and grow the foundation’s mission.I work collaboratively with fellow board members, staff, and community partners to strengthen the foundation’s programs and ensure resources are effectively directed toward youth development and educational advancement.Through my involvement with the Maurice Lucas Foundation, I am proud to support an organization that continues Maurice Lucas’s legacy of mentorship, leadership, and service by helping young people build confidence, character, and opportunities for the future.
