Living Life as an Art is a Parks and Recreation initiative designed to teach essential life skills to high school-aged teens through the arts. My responsibilities include planning, executing, and assessing the success of the LLAA program. My key responsibilities can be found below- Manage program logistics, including scheduling, partnerships, communications, class design, and end-of-year exhibition planning- Build community connections by collaborating with local artists, educators, and organizations to support youth engagement and growth- Develop and implement a structured, four-phase curriculum focusing on self-discovery, environmental awareness, community collaboration, and beloved community- Designed a ladder of engagement learning model that utilizes the stages of critical thinking to empower students to lead future program curriculum- Facilitate classroom activities, field trips, volunteer opportunities, and community collaborations.
