Environment and Infrastructure Policy Directorate, Policy and Results Branch• Since July 2021, leading the evaluation of Climate Risk and Resilience Assessments for HICC-funded projects to ensure compliance with federal requirements.• Since November 2022, lead Analyst for integrating climate resilience requirements into Canada’s Public Transit and Transportation programs, including the Canada Public Transit Fund.• From July 2021 to August 2024, coordinated two major initiatives with the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada and the Standards Council Canada (SCC) to develop Codes, Standards, and Guidance for infrastructure resilience. Actively collaborated with these partners to integrate HICC and the Government of Canada’s priorities in their ongoing work to develop actionable resilience guidance for infrastructure professionals and decision makers.• From July 2021 to March 2023, served as the Lead Analyst for HICC’s ongoing work with the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and the Coalition for Climate Resilient Investments (CCRI), actively collaborating with these partners for knowledge exchange.• Researching and analyzing program data to track results and share success stories.• Researching and analyzing policy issues related to infrastructure resilience to inform decision-making by Senior Management, preparing briefing documents for senior management, contributing to departmental planning, budget proposals, and memorandum to cabinet.• Planning and implementing meetings and workshops to support collaboration within the sector, and with external partners.
