I am an experienced student services and academic support services professional who is currently working as a Director of Student Success Programs (MESA). Previously, I worked as the Program Director - Title V and Program Manager - Office of Instruction to help with the successful implementation of various grants (Improving CTE Online Pathways, SEAP, BSSOT, DECT for Porterville College), grant development, ESL offsite and non-credit certificate expansion, AB-705/Basic Skills implementation, Winter and Summer Math JumpSTART, faculty professional development (Quick Tips for Online Success Webinar Series, ESL Alignment Summit, Math Alignment Chats with High School Instructors) and supervising the Learning Center, the Library, the Lending Library, the Testing Center, the Writing Center and the Student Worker Technology Team. Launched all academic support services as virtual services in Spring 2020 and became a STAR-CA contributing college to increase access to trained peer tutors in a variety of subjects.
