I work multiple times a week as an Intern for Homes by Dickerson in Raleigh. I am responsible for a variety of things such as submitting permit plans, plotting out plot plans for developers, and creating design boards for specific homes to be uploaded to the company website. I also am responsible for preparing for meetings with clients. I get samples of many interior selections, lay them out, and display them in a way that would be visually appealing for clients. I go on site and take progress photos and upload them to the website and am in constant communication with my supervisors updating them on progress on site. I have spent time so far specializing in the Operations and Planning Department, the Design Department, and now the Marketing Department and I cannot wait to continue to learn.
