I\'m the Head of Intellectual Property for Arxada’s Specialty Ingredients segment, where I lead a talented team focused on protecting innovation through patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and other forms of IP. My role spans collaboration with regulatory, privacy, antitrust, and employment counsel to ensure our legal strategies align with business goals.I’m a Registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and hold a J.D, cum laude, from Georgia State University, a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Georgia Tech, and a B.S, magna cum laude with honors, from Texas A&M University.In addition to my corporate work, I teach at Georgia State University, where I teach courses on Licensing Intellectual Property, Trademarks, and Unusual Forms of IP—including trade secrets and design patents. I’m passionate about making complex IP concepts accessible and actionable, whether in the classroom, the boardroom, or on stage.
