Leading a team of specialist consultants, I support charities, heritage organisations, businesses and public sector clients on digital, research and route development projects in the leisure walking, cycling and active travel fields.Recent projects include- Assisting Cumbria Connect, a multi-charity nature restoration project led by the RSPB, with the development of an access plan and new walking trail for its Penrith to Kendal Arc Landscape Recovery Project- Supporting West Midlands Combined Authority with the business case for a new West Midlands Walking Trail, including route development, community and stakeholder engagement, public transport integration, and funding and implementation options- Spearheading and securing funding for the GM Ringway, Greater Manchester\'s walking trail, now successfully implemented with the aid of a Heritage Fund grant- Training members of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild in the use of digital tools and apps for walking route development- Developing content and providing UX guidance to the GM Moving team for the Greater Manchester Walking website- Creating a set of 30 short app-based health walks for GM Moving, in conjunction with the GoJauntly app development team- Supporting Lancashire Wildlife Trust on implementation of walking routes within the Carbon Landscapes project area- Organising and leading a series of walks for Freshwalks, a company that promotes walking to the business community as a way of ‘feeling and performing better’.
