I am a Software Engineer at Google Cloud, building the large-scale bare metal infrastructure that powers the AI revolution. I specialize in bridging the gap between theoretical algorithm design and high-performance, low-level system implementation.I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in New York, where I was advised by Prof. Michael A. Bender. During my research, I also collaborated closely with Prof. Rezaul A. Chowdhury (Stony Brook) and Prof. Helen Xu (Georgia Tech). Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata.With experience spanning both academic research and industry, I focus on solving complex computational problems. My doctoral dissertation addressed the design of cache-efficient external-memory algorithms for parallel computing (e.g, multi-threaded HPC systems), yielding both theoretical guarantees and empirical advantages. I also researched learning-augmented algorithms—leveraging AI predictions to enhance the empirical performance of traditional online algorithms without sacrificing asymptotic worst-case guarantees.Technical Skills: C/C++, Python, Bash scripting, SQL, and several ML frameworks.

   Engineering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions to create, maintain, and operationalize Bare Metal cloud solutions for demanding applications. The Google Computing Engine (GCE) Node Bare Metal servers allow users to run specialized high-performance workloads, e.g. third-party virtualization software, applications with low-level access to the server, etc. Our team manages the regionally distributed cluster of servers with high-performance connection with a low-latency network fabric.
