ABOUT RAMON ACEVEDO

I work as a Marine Warranty Surveyor and Senior Naval Architect in Offshore Wind and Offshore O&G marine operations, with a focus on Transport & Installation activities, heavy cargo moves, and flexible product handling. My background is in hydrodynamics, structural engineering, and marine operations planning, and I try to keep a practical, engineering-driven approach to risk management and operational decisions. My experience covers T&I packages, heavy-lift transports, flexibles, and offshore operations across both renewables and traditional offshore projects, where the same fundamentals apply in terms of safety, engineering assurance, and procedural discipline. I work closely with project developers, contractors, and insurance underwriters, supporting alignment between technical requirements, and monitoring of operations during execution.I have worked on international projects across Europe, UK and the Americas, and my language skills (Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese) are often useful when coordinating multinational teams and when supporting emerging markets in the region, including Guyana and Venezuela.Areas I work in: Offshore Wind & O&G T&I operations, MWS document reviews and offshore attendance, heavy cargo and flexibles, marine operations engineering support.Tools: Ansys, OrcaFlex, Python, Excel.Good knowledge of MWS frameworks: DNV-ST-N001, ISO, ABS, BV and LR guidelines. Should you need support with projects, contractors, and insurers in Europe and the Americas, feel free to reach out.
