1. Senior Community Engagement Specialist

   Working within the framework of the Ballad Health Department of Population Health\'s strategic plan, I lead a team that translates objectives related to social determinants of health into community engagement and programmatic initiatives. Activities of my position include external and internal communication strategies, relationship building, partnership development and maintenance, collective impact visioning, event planning, and public speaking. Utilizing principals of democratic and servant leadership, I work alongside a fantastic team. Together, we manage a multi-million-dollar Community Health Improvement Site fund, tracking the goals, objectives, and outcomes of over 30 partners. Additionally, we partner internally with Niswonger Children\'s Network and the community to help move the needle on youth-related metrics surrounding school readiness and literacy benchmarks. Our team also oversees the system\'s health and wellness initiative, B-Well. I proudly serve on Ballad\'s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and am an active backbone support member of the STRONG Accountable Care Community.
