I am an educator, lifelong learner, speaker, community builder, and school administrator passionate about fostering positive and dynamic learning environments that are student-centered.As a proud Saint Paul native and product of the Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS), my journey in education has been deeply rooted in this community. With extensive experience as an English Second Language Teacher, I have a proven track record of dedication and excellence in the field of education. My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in International Business from Metro State University, where I also served as the President of the student organization “Lavender Bridge.”Driven by my commitment to supporting diverse learning communities, I pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction from the University of St. Thomas. This experience deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within ESL education.Continuing my professional growth, I completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration and a PK-12 Administrative Licensure Certificate at the UMN.My journey in education has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of educational leadership, and I am dedicated to supporting both students and educators in achieving their fullest potential. As a community builder, I am committed to creating inclusive and supportive educational environments prioritizing student success.
