Purpose-driven innovation leader and seasoned entrepreneur with 25+ years at the intersection of corporate innovation and early-stage startups. As VP of Innovation at Travelers, I lead the exploration of emerging opportunities and future growth by partnering with an ecosystem of startups, VCs, accelerators, and universities. My background spans both worlds: I’ve developed and scaled pioneering consumer Internet platforms used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide (AOL, Complex, Meetup), led award-winning innovation programs at Fortune 500 companies (Citi, Travelers, MetLife Asia), and founded multiple startups including one with a successful exit. Others didn’t make it, and those hard-earned lessons have been just as formative. That firsthand experience with the full spectrum of startup outcomes gives me a pragmatic and empathetic approach to innovation, grounded in what it really takes to build something new and meaningful.I’m passionate about solving big, complex challenges by forging strong, collaborative relationships between large enterprises and the startup ecosystem.
