I am part of an engineering team that is involved in the design and implementation of high-voltage substation projects (both greenfield and retrofit) for utility and industrial clients. My responsiblities include: • Preliminary investigations of project feasibility and scoping, as well as creation of project budget estimates. • Creation of project schedule, including milestones and major deadlines, as well as helping to guide interdisciplinary teammates and construction personnel in the achievement of these goals • Sizing and specification of substation components • Detail design of substation facilities, including control house and yard configuration • Maintaining communications with clients, vendors, and procurement personnel throughout project lifecycle
