About Ron Debiec

As a scientist and engineer with a love for learning and problem-solving, I found passion and excitement with Covestro, LLC, as a Complaint Investigator on the Technical Product & Quality Management team. I lead investigations into technical issues with Covestro Polycarbonate and Polycarbonate Blends resins at all stages of the polymer product lifecycle. My career at Covestro began as an R&D Scientist using analytical chemistry to provide technical support across all Covestro Business Entities that include multiple polymeric chemistries and industries. Both positions have provided me with project management and leadership skills to effectively solve problems and communicate technical findings to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.I found another passion of mine during my time at Covestro. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I sought out connections in Covestro’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group, UNITE, and became one of the co-leads of this ERG for all sites in the United States. UNITE’s goals are to build a network for those interested in fostering a more inclusive workplace, increase diversity within Covestro\'s company culture, connect with external LGBTQ+ organizations, and promote Covestro\'s visibility within the LGBTQ+ community.

Throughout investigations, I communicate with a variety of stakeholders to identify, solve, and prevent problems that appear in any stage of the product lifecyle.
