ABOUT RYAN CUSHLEY
I practice primarily in the areas of employment law and licensing.In the Industrial Tribunal and Fair Employment Tribunal I regularly act on behalf of employees and employers, having provided representation in matters across the entire spectrum of claims. In addition, I am regularly involved in employment-related and discrimination claims in the County Court and High Court.I regularly act and advise in licensing applications, and have been involved in many liquor, bingo, bookmaking and registration of clubs matters in the County Court and Magistrates’ Court.Since 2018 I have been the Senior Tutor and Lecturer in employment tribunals at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen\'s University Belfast. In this role I am responsible for the delivery of employment law teaching to all trainee solicitors and trainee barristers in Northern Ireland.I am currently chairman of the Employment Lawyers Group Northern Ireland.
