About Ryan Coffey
As an Electrical Engineer at Melonfrost, I design and develop a complex electromechanical system to grow bacteria under different selective pressures. I employ RTOS on STM to control and measure various parameters, such as temperature, optical density, stirring, and dispensing liquids. I also use Embedded Python to manage web socket and MQTT communication between multiple services running on a RasPi4.I have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York, where I completed a capstone project on a chemical autosampler. I have also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Bowery Farming and SENSORWORX, where I designed sensing and imaging systems, low power current regulated products, and firmware development. I have strong skills in STM32, Embedded Python, RTOS, Modbus, and MQTT. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to create innovative and impactful solutions for real-world problems.
