I am the CEO of Omega Azul, a sustainable aquaculture company based in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico, focused on the commercial production of Seriola rivoliana (Kanpachi).Building offshore aquaculture at scale isn’t easy — it requires biological precision, operational discipline, regulatory fluency, and long-term capital alignment. My work sits at the intersection of all four.At Omega Azul, we produce premium Kanpachi while prioritizing environmental stewardship, animal health, and responsible marine resource use. Our objective is simple but demanding: deliver consistent, high-quality fish to global markets while protecting the ecosystems that make aquaculture viable long-term.I lead the company across strategy, capital planning, production performance, regulatory engagement, and market development in a biologically complex, capital-intensive operating environment.My experience centers on building and scaling aquaculture operations where biological risk, environmental stewardship, and commercial execution must align.
