ABOUT RICHARD CALDERONE
I am currently a National Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, an independent bureau of the United States Treasury Department. I have been entrusted to take on prevalent roles during bank examinations, including serving as the Examiner in Charge (EIC) and Loan Portfolio Manager (LPM). In addition, I conduct analysis of commercial credits, retail credits, financials, BSA/AML programs, consumer compliance, and information technology. To further enhance my skill-sets, I successfully completed the ACAMS certification to be designated a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA). My BBA includes a major in finance, concentrated in financial risk management, and a minor in Resource Economics concentrated in family and consumer science. At UMass, I was a member of Iseneberg School of Management, and Commonwealth Honors College.
